Live Soccer – Life is Good Again!

The first day of the Bundesliga restart is over, and it is good to see live soccer on TV again. I certainly love settling in with a good cup of coffee and a European soccer match (I’m on the West Coast – a bit too early for a good beer!).
Dortmund was on a four game win streak before the shut-down, and they seemed to continue in stride with a 4-0 win over FC Schalke who extend their win less streak to eight games since January 17th when they beat Borussia Mönchengladbach 2-0.
Mönchengladbach on the other hand looked good in their 3-1 win over Frankfurt. The continue to look like they belong at the top of the table as they stay seated in third place and open a little breathing room as Leipzig is struck down by the infamous replay official and come out with a 1-1 draw against Freiburg.
The top five will finish up tomorrow with Bayern away against Union Berlin, and Bayer 04 Leverkusen is away at sV Werder Bremen on Monday.
