EPL-Liverpool vs Hull City 2013-12-01

Hull City 3!!! – 1 Liverpool.

Hull  was holding their own at the half, 1-1, against Liverpool.  In fact, they troubled the Liverpool back four a number of times. It was announced prior to the game, by NBC’s Rebecca Lowe, that Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge is out for awhile after rolling his ankle in training. This gives the young Sterling a chance to prove himself after butting heads a bit with Brendan Rodgers during Rodger’s first season as manager. Hull has a number of good players such as Al Mahammadi, Huddlestone, Faye, Graham and Figueroa. They have been giving their season back in the Prem a good run so far.

Suarez is lively for Liverpool, but as usual, looks for the foul.  Hull took him and the rest of the Liverpool squad, out of their game.

…70th+ minute Hull City go up 2-1 on a wonderful Meyler goal…and wait…an own goal by Skirtel to go up 3-1 against Liverpool.  Good defending and pressure by Hull on the Liverpool goal are seeing them through to a terrific win and 3 points.

12 shots to 9 for Liverpool despite only 40% of possession to 60%.  They were well deserving of the win and kept up their record of wins after scoring first.
